If you experience a major circumstance that has the potential to affect your ability to submit a piece of coursework, you may be eligible to apply for a five working day extension. Some modules may require you to submit your coursework online.

If you have a serious infectious illness such as mumps, measles hsnd chickenpox, you should not attend the University even to sit an examination. The date and time of your submission is taken from the Blackboard server and is recorded when your submission is complete, not when you click submit. The mark for the component will also be the mark for the whole module.
You cannot use the five working day extension process if you miss an assessment.
